operational principle

The working principle of an intelligent on load capacity regulating transformer is shown in Figure 1. The on load capacity regulating controller determines the current load current by detecting the voltage and current on the low voltage side of the transformer. If the capacity regulating conditions are met, a capacity regulating command is issued to the on load capacity regulating switch. The on load capacity regulating switch switches the capacity based on the capacity regulating command, achieving star and angle transformation, series and parallel transformation of the high and low voltage coils inside the transformer, and completing the capacity switching under load conditions of the transformer.

The distribution transformer can be connected to a laptop through a serial/USB interface or connected to a handheld PDA terminal through a ZIGBEE low-power wireless transceiver module, achieving on-site data download, data viewing, and parameter tuning; The operation data can also be sent to the remote monitoring center through an external GPRS module or Ethernet module, achieving the remote monitoring function of intelligent on load capacity adjustment transformers.
